I've been wondering...

Why is WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY pronounced the way they are and WHO is pronounced the way it is?

It doesn't make sense!

I kind of get why...

• WHAT is pronounced as 'wat' instead of 'hat'
• WHEN is pronounced as 'wen' instead of 'hen'
• WHERE is pronounced as 'wer' instead of 'her'
• WHY is pronounced as 'wai/wy' instead of 'hai/hy/high'

Hat, Hen, Her, and High may mean something else entirely...

So... why is WHO pronounced 'hoo' instead of 'woo'? Di ba? Di ba? Para man lang consistent at least!
